The Interior Ministry's regional planning and construction committee approved construction of 1,500 housing units at Ramat Shlomo neighborhood in north Jerusalem.
The plan was filed 18 month ago but was suspended during the visit of US Vice President Joe Biden. (Noam Dabul Dvir)
