While nurses strike, Ashdod dock workers get raises
The Finance Ministry has reached an agreement with the union representatives of the Ashdod Port workers promising the workers thousands of shekels in raises, corresponding to their achievements.
The negotiations over the employment terms began last May. According to the deal, which has yet to be signed, each worker will get a raise of around 3,500 NIS (slightly less than $1000). (Ynet)
