Party recognizes potential of French and English speaking voters, launches video addressing olim
In an effort to widen its circle of voters, the Habayit Hayehudi party has launched a new campaign targeting immigrants from France, the US and Canada.
The campaign consists of videos in English and French outlining the party's vision and platform with an emphasis on aliyah.
The party is also planning to translate its economic and political programs into several languages and to incorporate chairman Nafatali Bennett's many appearances in the foreign press into the campaign.
A survey conducted by Habayit Hayehudi's campaign revealed that the party's pool of potential voters who are English and French speaking olim amounts to some 500,000 people.
On Wednesday, the party held a conference for dozens of French-speakers in Netanya. The participants later noted that the fact that Habayit Hayehudi directly addresses olim shows they can be a significant and active force in the election.
