The European Union and Peru
singed a new, multi-million dollar agreement meant to promote the export of organic and ecological products, Ynet has learned.
According to an EU statement, the deal was signed in Lima by Peru's International Cooperation Agency, three ministers and delegates of the European Union.

Peruvian Finance Minister Luis Miguel Castilla, Environment Minister Manuel Pulgar Vidal and Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Jose Luis Silva singed the Euro-Eco-Trade deal on behalf of Lima's government.
The $17 million initiative will provide both financial and technical support to facilitate the implementation of strategies meant to promote exports of Peruvian organic products.
