Officer wounded undergoes surgery; condition stable
A fracture was discovered in the skull of the IDF officer wounded Saturday by stones during an attempt to disperse a riot in the Palestinian village of Beit Ummar in Gush Etzion. The officer underwent surgery in the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem and was then sent to recuperate. His condition is stable.
On Saturday the officer was evacuated to the hospital in light condition where he received stitches. (Yoav Zitun)
