PM: Accreditation of Ariel college strengthens education system
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated the chancellor of the Ariel University Center, Yigal Cohen-Orgad, after Defense Minister Ehud Barak instructed GOC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Nitzan Alon to officially recognize the school as a full-fledged university.
"After decades, there is another university in Israel," Netanyahu said, adding that the step has "empowered" the higher education system in the country. (Moran Azulay)
