India: Policeman wounded in rape protests dies

Indian authorities announced Tuesday that a policeman injured in Saturday's protests in New Delhi has succumbed to his wounds after two days in a coma.
Some 50 police officers were wounded during violent clashes with protester who came out en masse to protest against the gang rape of a young student on a public bus last Sunday. (AFP)
