Father who shook twins charged with manslaughter

An indictment has been filed with the Tel Aviv District Court against a man accused of assaulting and abusing his twin babies, one of whom died as a result.

According to the indictment, the father shook and punched his baby's head which caused the infant to loose consciousness. He later died in hospital. The baby's twin sibling was also hurt. The father is charged with manslaughter, assaulting a minor and abuse. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
