Atias: Stop blaming poor man for his poverty

Housing and Construction Minister Ariel Atias (Shas), gave a speech in a conference organized by Calcalist on Tuesday and said that there are populist statements being made that blame the poor man for his poverty all the while not giving him the tools he needs to deal with his situation.
"This is populism whose purpose is to justify aggressiveness towards the weak; hence we (Shas) must be the restrainer in the next budget." (Shiri Hadar)
