Immigration Authority: Drop in infiltrators in 2012
The annual report of the Population, Immigration and Border Authority revealed that in 2012 the number of refugees that infiltrated into Israel from the southern border with Egypt dropped to 10,365 in comparison to last year's 17,000.


Additionally, the report noted that the Interior Ministry issued 580,000 new ID cards and that 3.8 million Israelis left the country through Ben Gurion Airport. (Omri Efraim)
