Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid warned that Israel's middle class "is about to explode" following a tax hike that went into effect Tuesday. "The Netanyahu government continues to trample over the middle class putting it in an impossible situation instead of cutting haredi and settlement budgets," he said.
