Jobless rate drops to 6.7% in November

Amid a rise in number of employed and labor force, unemployment rate edges down from 6.9% in October

Israel 'sunemployment rate edged down to 6.7% in November from 6.9% in October amid a rise in the number of employed and in the labor force.
The number of employed rose 0.8% to 3.406 million in November, with 59.7% of those aged 15 and over having jobs, up from 59.3 in October.
The participation in the labor force of those aged 15 and over increased to 63.9% last month from 63.7% in October.
Israel's economy is slowing as a result of the global downturn and is projected to have grown 3.3% in 2012, down from 4.6% in 2011.
