Israeli detainee in Egypt found unpersuasive
Sources in southern Sinai say that Andrey Pshenichnikov, the Israeli citizen arrested in Egypt, has not yet given a persuasive explanation regarding the reasons he infiltrated the country.
According to the London-based newspaper al-Sharq al-Awsat, Pshenichnikov said in his interrogation that he is a member of a pro-Palestinian organization. The newspaper also reported that the intention of the interrogation is to understand why he photographed security facilities. (Roi Kais)
