Driver who ran over Border Guard officer indicted

An indictment has been filed against Rami Shakirat, 37, from Jabel Mukabar who intentionally ran over a Border Guard officer near a Jerusalem police station last month. He is being charged with aggravated battery, reckless behavior and negligence.
The indictment noted that the act was not of nationalistic motives contrary to initial estimates. (Aviel Magnezi)
