Pilot, navigator abandon aircraft during landing
Two aircraft crew members abandoned their plane, a "Barak" F-16, while landing at the Ramat David airbase in northern Israel. The crew members were not hurt, but were taken for medical examinations.

A preliminary investigation said that the crew decided to leave the aircraft due to a technical problem. Air Force chief Major-General Amir Eshel suspened training on the "Barak" jet and ordered the establishment of a committee to investigate the issue. (Yoav Zitun)
