The New York Times reported that senior IDF commanders provided US President Barack Obama and the Pentagon with information on the loading and preparing of the Sarin nerve gas by the Syrian army.
According to the report, following the update of American governmental officials, extensive cooperation began in warning Syrian President Bashar Assad not to use the bombs. The information sparked the clear message Obama sent Assad "Use of chemical warfare will be totally unacceptable." Simultaneous messages were sent from Russia, Turkey and additional countries and the Syrian army has not made use of the bombs yet. (Ynet)
