Gantz accepts ex-Central Command chief's retirement

IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz has accepted Major-General Avi Mizrahi's request to retire from the IDF after 33 years of service.

Major-General Mizrahi had previously headed the IDF's Central Command and was considered a candidate for the post of Deputy Chief of Staff, however the job eventually went to Maj-Gen Gadi Eizenkot. (Yoav Zitun)
