More than 50 people were killed in aerial strikes and from artillery fire carried out by forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad in the northeastern Hasaka region, opposition sources reported.
Meanwhile, Arab media outlets reported that a car bomb exploded in Damascus. There were no immediate reports of injury. (Roi Kais)
