Obama: Taliban must renounce terrorism for reconciliation
US President Barack Obama said on Friday it would not be possible for Afghanistan to reconcile with the Taliban unless the Islamist militant group renounces terrorism.
Obama made the comment at a news conference with Afghan President Hamid Karzai after they met at the White House. (Reuters)
