Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef suffers minor stroke
Dr. Yuval Weiss, director of the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, has briefed reporters on Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef's condition, saying: "(The rabbi) arrived after feeling weak. Extensive testing indicated he most likely suffered a very minor stroke. After consulting with the rabbi, his family and his personal physician it was decided he would remain in the hospital for observation and rest."
Dr. Weiss also stressed that the rabbi remained conscious and that he is expected to be able to return home in a couple of days. (Noam Dvir)
