Peres: People of Israel are praying for Rabbi Ovadia Yosef
President Shimon Peres has called Rabbi Moshe Yosef, the son of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, and expressed hope that the latter will regain full health and return home quickly after suffering a minor stroke. The president said: "Rabbi Ovadia Yosef has always prayed for the people of Israel. Today the people of Israel pray for him."
Rabbi Moshe Yosef thanked the president and informed him that his father will remain in the hospital over the next few days for observation and recuperation. (Noam Dvir and Kobi Nahshoni)
