Jews, Arabs protest against environmental hazard

Hundreds of residents of Shaar Efraim and Arab towns Qalansawe and Tayibe are demonstrating against environmental hazards at Qalansawe's industrial area.
The protestors are holding signs reading "My home is not a garbage dump." They are protesting the existence of a waste disposal site and polluting factories in the area. They have blocked Route 444 and are clashing with police forces. Two have been arrested. (Hassan Shaalan)
