Gov't allows Shalem Center to offer official B.A. studies
The Israeli government unanimously confirmed Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar's recommendation to grant the Shalem Center a permit to open a higher educational institution. The institution will not be governmentally subsidized, but the educational programs will be confirmed and supervised by the Council for Higher Education.


The center will provide B.A.s in Humanities, Philosophy, Jewish Thought and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies. (Shahar Chai)
