In the wake of overcrowding in Israel's hospitals during winter time the Health Ministry has decided to open additional internal wards. The first hospitals to get new wards are the Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba and theWestern Galilee Hospital in Nahariya.
Director of Health Administration in the Health Ministry Prof. Arnon Afek said: "We hope to ease the lack of hospitalization beds." (Dr. Itay Gal)
