Israel's government approved more than 1,400 new construction plans and more than 6,000 housing units beyond the Green Line in 2012, a Peace Now report said.
According to the report, 2012 saw a record in settlement development. The Yesha Council welcomed the findings and said, "We welcome Peace Now's settlement documentation campaign." (Itamar Fleishman)
