Algeria: Some Islamist gunmen still barricaded at gas field

Some Islamist gunmen are still holed up at the remote Algerian gas field where dozens of hostages were held prior to a raid on Thursday, a security source says.

"There is still a group holed up" at the In Amenas gas production complex in the southeast desert, the source tells AFP, adding that it was "difficult to discuss an ongoing operation." (AFP)
