State Dept: Americans still hostage in Algeria
A US official says Americans are still held hostage in Algeria on the third day of a standoff with militants at a natural gas complex in the Sahara.
State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland says the US is working with Algeria and other governments to try to secure their release. Nuland wouldn't say Friday how many Americans were still being held. (AP)
