Deri: Cut defense budget despite Iran threat

In a special pre-election interview with Ynet, Aryeh Deri says he is closer to Labor's Shelly Yachimovich than he is to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when it comes to social issues.

Addressing the IDF draft debate, the Shas leader says "a yeshiva student who studies the Torah must be allowed to continue studying the Torah. We will fight for this."
