CBS: 27% of Israelis have difficultis writing Hebrew

The Central Bureau of Statistics' new data reveals that 27% of Israelis, half of which are Arabs, have difficulty filling out forms and writing formal letters in Hebrew. According to the data, 53% of Israelis 65-years and older have similar difficulties.


The data further revealed that 17% of Israeli-Arabs do not read Hebrew at all and 8% of them have limited literacy in Hebrew . (Yaron Druckman)
