Youth detained after verbally confronting Bennett

Published: 01.21.13, 18:01 / Israel News

A haredi youth was detained by police after shouting "You have some nerve" at Habayit Hayehudi Chairman Naftali Bennett during that latter's visit to the Western Wall. The youth told Bennett: "You want to draft our children to the army, mothers are crying at night."

Bennett responded by saying "I love you," to which the youth replied: "Then leave me alone, let me study Torah. Don't force me to go to the army, you're inciting sin. Take your kippa off." (Noam Dvir)
