Hamas denounces PM's Western Wall visit
A senior Hamas official denounced Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's election- day, Western Wall visit and said, "Netanyahu is trying to gain Israeli votes by provoking the Muslims and soiling their holy sites."
Hamas also called for an uprising in the West Bank as a result of the "recurrent provocations." Palestinian senior official Mustafa Bargouti referred to today's elections and said, "the extreme right's apparent victory proves that there is no basis for peace with Israel." (Yonatan Gonen)
