German FM lauds Netanyahu: Peace process must proceed
German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle congratulated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and all new Knesset members for the elections results.
Westerwelle stressed that: "We are convinced that first and foremost the middle-east peace process must be promoted through negotiations with the Palestinians. We will support measures which will bring us closer to the goal – a two-state agreement." (Itamar Eichner)
