Barak at Davos: Syria serves as warning

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak claims global inaction on the deadly violence in Syria is a warning to many countries that they cannot count on outsiders' help, no matter how dire the circumstances.
Barak spoke on Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where the Syrian civil war was a major topic. Barak suggested that Israelis could be discouraged from backing risks for peace, such as the return of strategic Palestinian territories, in exchange for various assurances. (AP)
