Egypt: Morsi postpones France visit due to protests
Egypt's President Mohammed Morsi postponed his visit to France, set for Friday, in light of plans by opposition elements to escalate protests against him. Morsi's spokesman Yasser Ali clarified that the president's visit to Germany scheduled for next week will take place as planned.
The National Salvation Front, the main opposition body, rejected Morsi's invitation to a dialogue on Monday and called for demonstrations across Egypt on Friday. (Roi Kais)
