White House refuses to comment on reported Israeli strike in Syria
The White House has refused to issue a response on Middle Eastern reports claiming that Israeli aircraft have struck targets on the Syria-Lebanon border.
Addressing the reports for the first time, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said he has no comment, asking the reporters to turn their questions to the Israeli government. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
