Shin Bet, IDF thwart Hamas terror plot
A joint effort by the Shin Bet and the IDF thwarted a plot to carry out an abduction of Israelis as a means to free Palestinian prisoners. The security forces uncovered a terrorist cell belonging to Hamas' military wing in the Hebron area.
Twenty terrorists were arrested and turned over for questioning with the Shin Bet. The majority of the detainees are former Hamas prisoners that had been held in Israel. (Yoav Zitun)
