6 Beitar fans arrested so far for alleged racist behavior

Two Beitar Jerusalem fans, suspected of hoisting a sign reading "Beitar will be pure forever" and shouting racist slogans during a game between Bnei Yehuda and Beitar at the Tedi Stadium, will be brought Friday morning for a remand hearing.

So far six suspects in the case were arrested. Police said one of them, a 26-year-old, is part of the hardcore fan base and incited fellow fans to racist chanting. (Noam Dvir)
