Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman said that because of the results of the elections "it is difficult to find a common denominator. At the end of the day, instead of a compromise we have a pastiche that neutralizes our ability to undertake the meaningful processes the people have demanded of us."
He further added: "The real challenge is the security threats. However, we will continue to take care of other issues such as equal share of the burden and living costs." Lieberman furether added, "I agree with the prime minister that a wide unity government is optimal." (Noam Dvir)
