Iran pledges to aid Syria if it retaliates against Israel

Political sources in Syria said that Said Jalili, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council and Syrian President Bashar Assad discusses the possibility of Tehran's aid to Damascus should it decide to retaliate over the alleged Israeli strike last week, the London-based Arabic newspaper al-Quds al-Arabi reported.
