Minister Livnat: Decision on dissertation in English outrageous
Culture and Sports Minister Limor Livnat called on the heads of the Hebrew University to reverse their decision to allow students to submit doctoral dissertations in English.
Speaking at the opening of a conference on the Hebrew language in Rishon Lezion, Livni said the decision was "outrageous" and went against the demand of the university's founders that all papers be written in Hebrew. (Shahar Chai)
