Obama to reiterate commitment to peace talks during visit
US diplomats commented on President Barak Obama's expected spring visit to Israel, saying that the US is adamant about its desire to renew negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
One diplomat said: "Despite the turbid relations between Obama and Netanyahu, the relations between the two countries mustn't be based on the relations of the two leaders. Obama's visit is intended to reiterate to Netanyahu that (Obama) will not neglect negotiations." (Attila Somfalvi)
