AG: PMO's legal advisor didn't overstep authority

Published: 02.06.13, 19:02 / Israel News

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein responded to a request by MK Nachman Shai (Labor) to investigate the legal advice and conduct of the Prime Minister Office's legal advisor Shlomit Barnea-Fargo, who advised Natan Eshel. Weinstein decided that Barnea-Fargo did not err nor overstep her authority.

Two weeks ago it was revealed that Eshel consulted Barnea-Fargo regarding his possible return to a senior position after the elections as well as his possible role in the coalition negotiation team. (Aviel Magnezi)
