Crime: 2 wounded in car blast in Tel Aviv

Crime wars hit city streets again: One man suffered critical injuries and another was moderately injured Saturday, when what is believed to be an explosive device rigged to a car, detonated.
The blast took place across from the Abu Kabir Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tel Aviv .

Police and emergency forces scrambled to the scene. The injured were given initial treatment on site and rushed to the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv, as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames engulfing the car.
The injured were described as being in the 30s and 40s. Both suffered extensive burns.
The police launched an investigation. Sources in the Tel Aviv District Police said that the two men were known to the police.
