Women's Army Corps founder dies at 95
Sarah (Surica) Braverman, one of the first female fighters who served in the Palmach and one of the founders of the IDF Women's Army Corps, died on Sunday at the age of 95 at her Kibbutz Shamir home.


Braverman, was one of the 37 paratroopers who volunteered to parachute into European territory during WWII. Her funeral will take place on Monday at Kibbutz Shamir. (Maor Buchnik)
