Syrian opposition takes hold of country's largest dam

The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights reported that the opposition has managed to take control over Syria's largest dam, located in the northern part of the country.
The fall of the dam into the opposition's hands is a blow to President Bashar Assad's regime; since most of Syria's water is channeled through it. (AFP)
