Cairo: Clashes between police and demonstrators
Police and protesters demanding political and social reforms, marking the second anniversary of the fall of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, clashed Monday in front of the presidential palace in Cairo.

The police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse groups of protesters who threw missiles at the palace of al-Ittihadiya in Heliopolis, a suburb of Cairo, Egyptian media reported. (AFP)
