Indictment filed against men who helped felon flee to Syria
The Northern District Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment against Hatam Yassin, 21, from Tamra, and Muhmad Tzalach, 24, of Jaljulia, who helped Yassin’s brother, Mohamed Yassin, who is serving a 20-year sentence for murder, and another person, escape to Syria last week.
The indictment filed with the Nazareth Magistrate’s Court stated that the accused drove the two to the Israel-Syria border in the Golan Heights. Tzalach helped them cut the fence and pass through, as Yassin waited in the car. (Ahiya Raved)
