The Jerusalem District Court convicted two senior Hamas figures, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Khaled Abu Arafa and Palestinian Parliament Member Mohamed Tutach of belonging to a terror organization and residing in Israel illegally. The two admitted to the allegations as part of a plea bargain.
An indictment filed a week ago claimed that Abu Arafa and Tutach evaded arrest and engaged in terror-related activity with other Hamas members while staying in a protest tent in Jerusalem. (Aviel Magnezi)
