Iranian Revolutionary Guard chief in Lebanon Houssam Khosh Nweis was buried in Tehran. Present at his funeral were Revolutionary Guards commander General Mohammad Ali Jafari and Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Qods Force.
Earlier, a senior Revolutionary Guard official Ramadan Sharif said that Nweis was murdered by Israeli agents on his way to Beirut. He added that "no doubt that this evil doing won't benefit these agents." (Elior Levy)
