Police close Modiin Illit rape case

The Shai District Police have closed a case into the rape of a five-year-old girl in Modiin Illit after it was discovered that the woman who made the complaint had fabricated the story. Police are considering pursuing legal action against her.
However, during the investigation, police uncovered several cases of molestation involving children in the settlement. Police are looking into the matter. (Itamar Fleishman)
